I also doubt that it uses PWM : I don't see any signal modulation on their oscillogram (like on review for mix2s) - just some random noise. Could you please re-check?

Are you sure Honor 20 Pro screen is using PWM under 15% of brightness?
I couldn't detect it on my phone.
