...Wow, to have to get approval for each state individually...but sounds good, I don't like Tesla's perpetual emphasis on cutting costs. Their exterior and interior design have been crap from the get go, reminding me of vehicles from 2 decades ago, and still they cut corners from there. They don't deserve to sell those in the luxury department.

The Mercedes-Benz DRIVE PILOT autonomous driving system has become the first to receive SAE Level 3 certification in the US. The technology will be available in 2024 S-Class and EQS Sedan models, with approval currently only in Nevada. The system can increase or decrease the car's speed, steer, react to road signs and detect hazards.
