Hi Steve,

do I understand you correctly? The 3070 version is even slightly cheaper? Sounds a bit weird  :D

Regarding performance you could take a look here and here for an overview about all tests of 3060 and 3070 devices. Just pick two reviews with similar TDPs on each model.

I would the 3070 estimate to be around 10-15 % faster in 1080p and maybe slightly more in 1440p thanks to the bigger VRAM.

If prices and rest of specs are around the same, I would of course go for the 3070, but for 1080p gaming the 3060 is much more than enough.

P.S. Ah, I think "i" on the 3060 model stands for Intel and the 3070 model comes with AMD right?

Hey folks,

I am undecided between the Legion 5i Pro (RTX 3060) and Legion 5 Pro (RTX 3070) since they come at about the same price with the latter one being slightly cheaper. I thought I might go with the 'normal' Legion and the better graphics card, since I am anyhow mostly working on an external screen.

Hence I put it down to graphic performance and wondered if anyone ever has looked into a comparison between the 2 RTX versions when they are operated at the same TDP (which should be the case for the Legion according to the specs - 130W).

Any input is welcome. Thanks in advance!

BR Steve
