Yeah, they kinda missed a train there. It would be way too nice to support PS3 in Shadowlands, but still... let's hope it doesn't take too many months for us to finally see the final retail version up and running.

It might not be too late, especially if this way they would reach out to some gamers that never experienced the game so far.

for sure but imagine wow starting from ps3 and xbox.

They still load money into 16y old game ? Com'on just stop. Do new games...
For most of those still playing it's more about interacting with the people in their clans and doing stuff together instead of the game itself. I can't say you are right, especially since we are talking about paying to play it - I only played around two hours after being invited a long time ago, then I just got out and never felt the need to get back to it. For others, it's the thing that replaces - or goes along with - social media addiction. There's a lot to talk about when it comes to reasons that keep WoW afloat - and quite profitable - after all this time... :)

Although playing World of Warcraft with a game controller is possible, the game does not fully support this control method out of the box. However, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is expected to sport support for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 controllers, so we can only wonder if the game will also hit Sony's console.
