How much does Trump pay you to do all this dirty work?😂😂😂
Every time there is Huawei there is you. I personally prefer apple to Huawei, but it's pretty disgusting to see this grotesque person shitting at them without any proof, like "According to a reliable but undiscloseable source of news", or is it just that Huawei refuse to help the government spying the world so it gets banned?😂😂😂😂
Ah, I think I remember you, ILam the puny cowardous liar. My posts, unlike yours, are public record, and never have I said "According to a reliable but undiscloseable source of news", while you're free to pull anything out of your shithole like "I personally prefer apple to Huawei" to fake an objective stance, like that's totally veritable, and "Huawei refuse to help the government spying the world so it gets banned". Man the f up and get an account to face me if you're so righteous.
And "without any proof", right, easy for a Huawei apologist to spew accusations like that.
Let's see, "Huawei brazenly brags about a plan B", this is everywhere and you'd have to be living under a rock for not knowing.
"also it has about a year of American components stocked" Also no secret and at least Chinese media widely mention this. Do a tiny bit of research to prove you're not an imbecile before throwing around accusations.
"thriving off of anti-intellectualistic nationalistic brainwash" Go to literally any Chinese media outlet to see what the current brainwash is about, an editor here also linked to relate content before: https://9to5mac.com/2018/12/24/huawei-iphone-termination-apple/
And this surreal s***, written by songwriters in the PLA(also no secret), must be your favorite flavor huh, Huawei dog?https://www.archyworldys.com/huawei-is-beautiful-a-song-to-the-glory-of-the-chinese-manufacturer-of-smartphones/
"trade subsidies": there in fact was an insider who had information on this, but I never mentioned him on this site, which is accountable. This person's net presense was wiped just before Huawei issued their statement. Google "铁流 华为" and you'll still find (only the cached version of) his many columns in Chinese publications (which speak to his industry status and credibility) which are now wiped by the Party, proof being the simultaneous existance of many 404s with live cache from last month.
"IP theft"
https://www.computerworld.com/article/2578617/cisco-sues-huawei-over-intellectual-property.html
Note that Cisco wasn't playing the patent troll, read what their accusations were about if you have that capacity.

I also posted samples or links in the majority of my comments regarding the false hype surrounding Huawei phone's imaging quality or their marketing trickeries like the fake moon shot and GPU Turbo, something you conveniently avoid. What a despicable hypocritic Huawei drone, you're just like your master.

Good.  This company is a stereotypical Asian company that aces its exams like putting up a good facade then does hideous things when no one looks. I know a lot of stories because I know closely people who worked for Huawei.

505 - Maybe China should try and compete instead of stealing IP from western countries. I would wager that about 80-90% of Chinese "R&D" is really just built off of stolen research and IP from western countries, particularly the US.

In 2018 Huawei spent over 15 billion in R&D, more than Apple, Microsoft or Intel

Well Huawei brazenly brags about a plan B, also it has about a year of American components stocked, which will probably hold out through the trade war.

I unfortunately don't see any significant (negative) impact to this dishonest and disgraceful company thriving off of anti-intellectualistic nationalistic brainwash, trade subsidies, and IP theft.

OTOH the vast majority of Chinese drank the Party's coolaid firmly believing Huawei's a mere private company singled out by the US (enemy) government, which will significantly boost sales in the long run, while in reality this company will receive unlimited infusions from the Chinese government, if necessary, to stay aloft. It's an entirely government vs. government struggle in which the Chinese government is at a significant economic advantage to the US, considering the purchasing power of the CNY: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(PPP)
and China's high tax rates.

This is ridiculous. The Trump administration is just a joke, allowing US companies to have an advantage vs the chinese companies instead of making them work hard and invest in R&D. Free market my a$$

I agree. The US should rely on free market when competing against a state run economy, operated by a military dictatorship.

Source: I worked for a Chinese company, in China.

Well, the debate about banning Huawei was discussed in the news for several years. So this was eventually expected.  If you purchased a Huawei device, you would have accepted the risk of this happening.

How this will affect existing MateBook laptop owners? Is Microsoft also going to cut access to the Store and Windows updates? Do we get future drviers/BIOS updates?

Huawei's smartphone and PC operations are in serious danger following the latest order from the Trump administration. In response to the order, US companies have withdrawn all sales and support for Huawei. This includes, crucially, Google revoking its Android licence and both Qualcomm and Intel among others ceasing all supply of components.
