Our company has acquired this laptop, with ssd and 8gb of ram.
The thing that is driving us crazy, is the laptop fan! It is not loud, but the sound is very high  pitch, and is variable... Impossible to work in a quiet room. Everything else is fine...

This Model (ProBook 440 g3), does not support Windows OS enterprise Edition (OS). I had to downgrade the OS from Windows 10 to Windows 7 64 bit. Because Windows 10 is not compatible for all the softwares that is running in Windows 7. As windows 7 Enterprise Version drivers are not available for this model, just going with the problem. Why can't HP introduce drivers for Windows 7 Enterprise for this particular model.??

I had purchased this laptop and returned it as defective because of the stripes visible on dark background at more than 40% brightness and strong LCD clouding.
Pitty, as otherwise it was good laptop.

Entry into the business world. With its new ProBook 440 G3, HP shows what an entry level device of the business class really needs. Intel's new Skylake generation may not be missing here. Unfortunately, the 14 inch model also inherited problems of the ProBook 430 G3.
