Not sure anymore in the current reality we're living.

Prices of ancient Nvidia shield and underpowered consoles has gone up astronomically.

We've been saying that this bubble is about to burst for the last 7 months now.

Feels like the chance of this ever ending is about as slim as Israel ending the genocide in Gaza and it's apartheid state, at this point, as more time goes on.
Not venturing a guess as to when/if the AI crazy will burst or keep going, just saying that new, better, faster hardware is coming out at a pretty good pace and outdoes whatever we buy today, which is not expandable or upgradeable in any way.

It's the crypto-mining hardware craze all over again, except it's 100x more expensive right from the start.

Let's not lose sight that these specialized, non-upgradeable "AI powerhouse" desktops and notebooks will be worth next to nothing in a few years.

This stuff depreciates fast, these companies are hoping to get you to spend $6-8k every other year to keep up - the sole business model is to milk the AI craze while it lasts.
