Well, it's a gaming laptop and just don't sit in the sun. Glossy means rich, "poppy" colors and sharp text. Your smartphone's screen is also glossy. 500 nits is bright enough and if the (few) reflection in dark mode are too much for you, then this display/laptop is not for you.

Make a vid and show if this is actually an issue.

The Lenovo Legion 5 has many attributes of a good gaming laptop, but also a good work laptop. However, one aspect of this device keeps it from ranking higher for a work device.
