I think it may be good eventually. Suddenly, other choices are smarter - especially for desktops. At these prices, desktop without upgradeable RAM and storage is just irrelevant. As for a laptop, Macbook Air may do.

Sucks for those who absolutely need those laptops and are also stuck with apple's OSes/ecosystem. Others will get a much cheaper laptop and build a desktop PC separately.

Apple's first major price increase since the start of the DRAM crisis is here. At the Apple Store, prices now start at up to $249 for an Apple TV 4K, $799 for a MacBook Neo, and at least $2,999 for a 16-inch MacBook Pro.
