Nintendo cut too many corners with the Switch 2 design. Not least of which was failing to fix the joycon drift design flaw. If they don't have to worry about magnetic connections, they should fix it with the lite model.
One-time Nintendo employees Kit & Krysta believe a Switch 2 Lite could arrive sooner than anticipated. Evidence of new hardware was recently found on the Nintendo Account site. At a reduced price and with lower-end specs, the handheld would entice more gamers to transition to the Switch 2.
