I'm surprised that you were able to get this laptop with the dedicated NPU, as this component is no longer available and Lenovo has removed it from all configurations on its website, including both the 255HX and 275HX models.
I ordered this laptop at the beginning of November (275HX / 3200p), but I had to reorder it without the dNPU in order to receive it in mid-December. With the dNPU, I would have had to wait until the end of February, with no guarantee of actually receiving it, as the order could have been canceled by then.
In the review, I don't see any mention of the advantages of the dNPU compared to the dGPU (32 TOPS vs. 572 TOPS) or the CPU/iGPU (33 TOPS for the 255HX and 36 TOPS for the 275HX).
With the ThinkBook 16p G6, Lenovo currently offers one of the best multimedia laptops on the market, which shows significant improvements over its predecessor. With a matte 240 Hz panel, a powerful HX processor and the mobile RTX 5060, it is a very good overall package.
