I don't think there is huge push to put them into phones as the current SiC batteries are offering impressive gains already, with the 8000mAh+ phones becoming common and the 10000 mAh coming next year. And yet the giants like Apple, Samsung or Google are ignoring these, serving us meager <=5000 mAh oinstead, so clearly that's not the priority.

OK. Now, maybe put such a battery into a smartphone. All of these announced SSBs are somehow too expensive for cars. But they could at least try to put them into a phone. Like, take an existing phone and offer a premium version with this battery.
Or is it also limited by the form factor as well?

An electric vehicle with the new solid-state electrolyte chemistry would be able to cover more than 1,000 miles on a single charge. The solid-state battery invention, however, would first power robots like Tesla Optimus.
