Xiaomi and related brands ie roborock, aqara are one of the only chinese companies that restrict the use of their products in the global market.
Not a huge problem that they want to sell their products for a bit more in the west... Western consumers probably have higher after sales service expectations...
But why do they have to restrict or delay availability for months up to a year for Western markets?
Xiaomi has launched a new smart home gadget, the Smart Door Lock 2 Finger Vein Version. The product builds on the original model, with finger vein imaging offered as a more accurate biometric unlocking tool. Other features include NFC recognition and HyperOS smart home integration.
