Here's what finally worked for me and might be worth trying:
Use the On-Screen Keyboard: On the login screen, click the accessibility icon (usually in the lower right corner) and select On-Screen Keyboard. Type your password using your mouse/touchpad. This bypasses any potential hardware or driver issues with the physical keyboard.
Check for Stuck Keys / Keyboard Language: It sounds obvious, but double-check that your Caps Lock is off and that your keyboard layout/language (e.g., ENG vs. RUS) is correct. A wrong layout will produce different characters.
The "Show Password" Option (if available): Some login screens have an eye icon you can click to reveal the password as you type. This can help you spot any unintended spaces or incorrect characters.
Try a Different User Account (if possible): If you have another admin account, log into it and update or roll back the keyboard drivers from the Device Manager. Corrupted drivers can cause this.
If the on-screen keyboard lets you in, the issue is almost certainly with your physical keyboard's driver. Once logged in, immediately visit your laptop manufacturer's support site (Dell, in your case) to download and install the latest keyboard and chipset drivers.
Hang in there—these login glitches can be incredibly frustrating, but they're usually solvable with a bit of systematic troubleshooting.
ich möchte einen günstigen, gebrauchten aber dennoch guten Laptop für draußen kaufen. Ich will damit unterwegs ins Internet, typische Bürosachen erledigen und ab und an mal Videos gucken. Ich würde gerne mal eure Meinung zur Qualität von Getac und Panasonic hören, taugen die was? Ich würde auch gerne den Dell Latitude 5414 nehmen, allerdings würde ich gerne noch andere Ideen hören, denn die Latitudes sind relativ schwer und groß. Gibt es empfehlenswerte Modelle, die kleiner und dementsprechend leichter sind UND gute Hardware verbaut haben? RAM sollten 8 Gb sein, wenn es 4 Gb sind, ist es nicht schlimm, solange der RAM erweiterbar ist. Ein SIM-Kartenslot wäre auch nicht schlecht (maximal 4G reicht).
