Hi Lore, if the laptop still runs well, I'd definitely consider giving it a second life. Linux Mint could be a good option to make it useful again without buying a new computer. Replacement batteries for older Samsung models can sometimes still be found, either used or aftermarket. Just make sure the exact model number matches.

Certainly, upgrading the operating system on your old Samsung Series 3 NP300E7A notebook is a viable option, especially since Windows 7 is no longer supported. And sometime if you have free time, you can play monopoly online with me or your friends

Hallo,

ich hab ein altes Samsung Serie 3 NP300E7A Notebook mit Windows 7 drauf und nem defekten Akku.

Eigentlich funktioniert das super gut, aber da Win7 ja schon nicht mehr unterstützt wird, möchte ich ein neues Betriebssystem haben.

Lohnt es sich ein neues drauf zu spielen? Wenn ja wie? und gibt es noch Akkus für das Gerät zu kaufen?
