Sony has unveiled the ECM-AX10, a compact USB-C microphone with four microphones that enables ambisonic, binaural, and stereo spatial audio recording on smartphones at up to 48 kHz/32-bit float. Designed for content creators, the dongle works with Sony's Spatial Audio Video Tool app and supports formats including Eclipsa Audio and Sony 360 Reality Audio for immersive 360-degree recordings.
