CD Projekt Red joint CEO Michal Nowakowski has confirmed that The Witcher 4 will ship in a physical box with collectible extras, even if Sony's decision to end disc production for new PlayStation games in January 2028 leaves the package without a disc. The studio is targeting a 2028 launch, and the game is already running on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X and S.
