If Xiaomi and CXMT pull this off, it's probably going to get the orange guy's attention, and receive a big-ol' tariff/blockage like he did with Huawei...

CXMT says its LPDDR6 memory has entered mass production, and Xiaomi is set to become the first smartphone maker to use it. The Xiaomi 18 Fold and Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max will use the said memory modules alongside the company's new Xring O3 SoC.
