As of yesterday, I stopped having issues using Google Wallet with version 26.28 of the services. Either it was a bug fixed by Google, or just a test of what they can achieve in the future.
What users and this writer doesn't seem to figure out is that the Google pay outage is related to the Google Android lock down in 2 months time. I already got rid of the fucking PlayStore and frame work services and guess what ? My cell functions just fine. I did so for less tacking, more on screen time and for most importantly no fucking Google decides how the f*** I use my cell in which I install what I want. Apks doesn't work without GMS no problem there are other apks and work around. It is mine AND I DECIDE ❗❕ On reddit I have come across other peepz whom Google is giving the run around even when their meet all requirements as developers etc and it has to do with the tightening restrictions upcoming.
Tested the Beta cancelation solution in play store which fixed my problem after restarting my phone Phone : Oppo Find X8s Plus Location : ME GCC, Oman Google play services version : 26.28.33
I can confirm the issue with my Chinese version of the Vivo x200 Pro, which I use in Santiago, Chile. I removed the Google Play Services updates and was able to use Google Wallet again. I'm currently running a version of Google Play Services earlier than 26.28. I hope Vivo develops a solution soon.
Google has apparently blocked all imported or China-purchased smartphones from using Google Wallet for contactless payments with the latest version of its Play Services, as countless affected users of Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo, and OnePlus smartphones are criticizing at the moment.
