Geekbench 7: 2500 points
This is not a big difference. One the one hand, this makes the comparison still roughly comparable. On the other hand, bigger numbers are harder to deal with.

They are right tho, browser performance is mostly single-core related. See M5' CPU single-core performance and WebXPRT and Mozilla Kraken scores (high single-core performance -> high browser benchmark score) (notebookcheck.net/Apple-MacBook-Air-15-M5-Review-Very-powerful-fanless-and-without-competition.1244905.0.html).

You can also give a concrete example where I can go and benchmark multi-core browser performance with a score given at the end, otherwise it's just hearsay. I'm not saying that browser don't utilize threads (this is not 2010, after all), but the latest and greatest browser benchmarks are what they are and maybe for a reason.

What a pack of scammers. Just open your browser and go to investing or any website with lots of active elements that are constantly refreshing, and you'll see the CPU usage spike.

Geekbench 7 is here with overhauled CPU and GPU tests, a new scoring baseline and several workloads designed around modern applications. These changes mean Geekbench 7 results aren't directly comparable with scores from older versions of the benchmark.
