Sony have made far too many bad decisions lately to consider sticking with PlayStation. 1) Ending physical media. 2) Announcing the closure of two digital stores (PS3 and Vita) whilst trying to promote an all digital future. 3) Being caught lying about 80% of their players buying digital as opposed to physical. 4) Saying that they don't intend to sell the PS6 at a loss.
I would like to however, thank Sony for saving me money. I saw a game on the PS Store and was thinking about getting it when I suddenly realised how bad they currently are and how all we own at the end of the day is a license. This prompted me to turn on my PC, open up a certain Nintendo emulator and download and play it on there. Thank you Sony.
I agree, why is it that companies always give the best deals to customers that either complain or are new. They treat loyal customers like they don't matter because they already have us. Why not just give better prices to returning customers. When will these companies learn to just treat their customers right and try harder to keep who they have. I feel if they did that they would be better off.
See this where I think Sony is going a** backwards because of the simple fact that it's giving discounts to the players who disconnected a subscription that is pretty much mainly used for people that actually want to stream games and play games that are in the PlayStation library. So you're the ones who cancel the subscriptions. Cancel it because they want physical copies, so no, they should have given the discounts to the loyal PlayStation community that stuck with them through the news.
A PS Plus member shared that they are being offered a free 12-month upgrade to PlayStation Plus Premium. The offer comes shortly after reports of discounts being given to users canceling their subscriptions
