Nintendo has announced revised European versions of the Switch 2 and several accessories to comply with upcoming EU battery regulations requiring user-replaceable batteries. However, the original Switch, Switch Lite, and Switch OLED will instead be phased out across Europe in early 2027 rather than being redesigned.
