Fire tablets had their day, but they're long over.

The Onn 11 is a far better choice at $167 in the US. It has the Helio G99 processor, 6 gigs of RAM and 128 gigs of storage. It also has stock Android 16, no bloatware and absolutely no advertising.

Originally available with 3GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of storage, Amazon has quietly released a 4GB RAM version of its Fire HD 10 tablet. Although, it is only available in a single color option and with lockscreen ads.
