Yeah, but which M series does it have, like Max, Pro or base model?

Usually when they update chassis they do revise the cooling system. Last rumour I heard is they'd be moving to vapour chamber.

This feels like a pretext to put out an overpriced, totally optional, high-end model to ravish tech bros/rich kids and the media.

I'm obviously not the target for this and this is fine, but if the way forward is to cater to the high-end crowd with overpriced items, you're kind of admitting that you're out of ideas.

As a 14-inch MacBook Pro user, I honestly couldn't care less if Apple makes the MacBook Pro even thinner. The one I'm using right now is already thin enough. What actually bothers me is the fan noise under heavy load — and the heat is another issue altogether.

Making it even thinner just means more fan noise and higher temperatures. There should be a limit to this obsession with making devices unnecessarily thin. Apple's engineers should focus less on proving their engineering prowess and more on what customers actually want.

Apple's highly anticipated touchscreen MacBook Ultra (M6 Pro/M6 Max) is reportedly set for a Q3 2026 launch, featuring advanced hybrid tandem OLED displays for improved battery efficiency. The alleged 14.3-inch and 16.3-inch models are expected to be surrounded by a thinner chassis, and feature the iPhone's Dynamic Island cutout.
