bison.bloke Maybe Asus added the dedicated 10-gigabit gaming LAN port's throughput to the peak combined 20-gigabit wireless throughput figure? IDK, I am not in the mood to dig deep right now but basically, the way Wi-Fi speeds are marketed has been a disaster for many years now.

Forgive my ignorance, but how do you get 30Gb/s throughput with only a 20Gb/s aggregate link? Amazing either way, but am I missing something? Is this anticipating client to client data transfer without using the switch?

Asus has announced the ROG Rapture GT-BN98 Pro at Computex 2026, positioning it as the world's first gaming router to adopt Wi-Fi 8 (IEEE 802.11bn) technology. Capable of speeds up to 30Gbps, the device focuses on the emerging standard's goals of ultra-high reliability, improved latency, and advanced multi-access point coordination.
