Yeah, they really should. Have a 16GB OnePlus 12R here. I want to upgrade but I find it difficult when I got mine for half the price of this 2 years ago with more ram.

16GB should be considered the minimum on android. Until a more efficient mobile operating system comes along.

Compact phones are dead. It's also especially hard to get zoom telephoto lens in smaller devices, so I've largely given up. If you care about zoom you've to compromise.

The only recent exceptions maybe are the vivo x300 and OnePlus 15T/(S?). One of which is difficult to get globally and the other is unknown if it will even be.

Nothing for compact phone lovers.  I see so much of investment in such big phones ultimately I see everyone holding compact phones and not such big tablets

Oppo has now opened Find X9 Ultra reservations before the smartphone's international release this April. While the company is bundling various free gifts with its latest flagship, it has also confirmed that the Find X9 Ultra will only be available globally with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB of storage.
