I was thinking the same. What's the long term viability of such a frame? It must dent and scratch easily. Designed for hipsters with too much disposable income.

Esel has launched the eUrban electric bike, which brings ash-wood construction. The company's new city-focused electric bike comes in two variants, namely, the eUrban Basic and the eUrban Performance. The bike features a rear wheel hub drive and a 350 Wh battery, which is said to deliver 42 Nm of torque and 80 km (49.7 miles) of range on a single charge.
