Borderlands Mobile ist ohne vorherige Marketing-Kampagne einfach so gestartet – bislang allerdings nur im Rahmen eines Soft-Launchs für iOS-Nutzer in den USA. Das Spiel selbst scheint gut zu sein, Fans befürchten aber eine aggressive Monetarisierung und ärgern sich über die begrenzte Verfügbarkeit.
