It has a bigger battery plus is lighter. More efficient chip so it'll have significantly better battery life.

Quote from: xvx on April 10, 2026, 15:49:18That's about 4-500 usd too expensive.

Tru but also +50% more memory and still cheaper than what Asus offers, so there is that.

Does it really matter?

Who wants a tablet with 4 hr battery life and weighs as much as a brick. Possibly multiple bricks depending on the material it's made out of.

Yeah, basically everything is 4-500 too expensive right now.  I'd say this is in in line or even more competitive compared to the pricing we're seeing so far, though it's very limited, with Panther Lake laptops.

These new Intel processors have never surpassed the Asus ROG Flow Z13, which many of my colleagues and I use, and it's truly incredible, not only for its battery life but also its power. I'm personally thinking of buying one, but with the AMD Zen 6 version that will be released in 2027, which will have many more AI features. It certainly won't be cheap, but I have time to save until 2027 after the great experience I've had with the Asus ROG Flow Z13 at work.

People who want 4070 levels of performance, or general computing that benefits from actually fast RAM / an APU architecture. Which is what the Asus ROG Flow Z13 is, and this laptop is not.

Strix Halo has a 256-bit memory bus. Anything that uses it is in a different class than competitors, along with the Apple M Pro chips, with double the memory speed.

The OneXPlayer Super V is now available for purchase. This new Intel Panther Lake gaming handheld rivals the AMD Strix Halo ROG Flow Z13 with an OLED display, a mini SSD slot, and a more affordable launch price.
