I bought a Switch 2 and returned it after being disappointed with the cloud ports even with a solid internet connection. Apparently this is typical, but then some downloaded titles for Switch 2 just felt unpolished and never truly living up to what the Switch 2 hardware capabilities. I just felt in 2026 the Switch 2 should provide more than it did in refresh rates, HHR claims being somewhat over hyped and battery life being terrible. No doubt the emulator would disappoint as Nintendo seems to want to put old technology behind them. They want you to buy the new games costing $70 plus instead of playing older titles. It was a learning experience for me and I had high hopes for the Switch 2 but hardware and lack of enough games living up to the technology available left me disappointed.
