Tell that to all of us that are waiting for those CPUS to drop in our AM5 boards. You'll need a new board as well for Nova Lake and it won't be cheap. 52 cores is overkill for so many users and the power consumption will be ridiculous. Not looking to cook a steak on it. I'll pass. I will support AMD to keep the market of competition healthy. Intel has had it's way with my wallet far too many times and to my chagrin!

Speak for yourself
that's why you got lower end CPUs, I'll be happy with a 52 core that will have good IPC.
Rather than shitting on a company, hope they do well so you get better products.

There are much more powerful systems by both companies already available and you can purchase them today. Open your wallet and also take out that second mortgage on your house and have at it!

I think that the article is slightly misleading.

The leaker states that Nova lake ipc gain generation over generation are going to be greater than Zen5 to Zen6. Of course it is! they are about 2 generations behind in IPC, which they only partially fixed with arrow lake refresh. It does NOT mean that it's going to  be faster. But please Intel do catch up, competition is always good.

I swear AMD fags have the best cope, Garbage Point then this. From recycled and renamed chips to their high-end gaming desktop exploding, yet somehow they managed to deny reality, or at least tried to lol.

In the end those fangays don't care about competition or technology, they just want their favorite multi-billion dollar company to win.

No one wants 52 running at 400w LoL

Intel already has higher IPC, but real world performance is another matter.

Hopefully that will push AMD to lower their prices how they used to do.
They're pricing right now is "not the best", to put it lightly.

A reliable leaker has compared the clock speed and IPC uplift of Intel Nova Lake and AMD Zen 6 CPU architectures. If the leaker's report is correct, Intel might finally be able to take the performance crown from AMD in all workloads, including gaming.
