That's like comparing a thermos to a cristal glass.
The MOBILE phones are always at hand, you never miss a moment.
Even at home, when I want to take a pictures of my cat lying on my lap, no camera can do it in a few seconds and it is never at hand.
Camera is a special purpose gear built for the special, intentional events, and for the photo-hunting fir the moment.

You can drink a liquid from a Thermos and from a cristal glass, yet the purpose is totally different.
