This post is flat out ragebait. Literally no people are saying it's a disappointment.  This isn't like Marathon trying to hide numbers, Crimson Desert sold 3 million+ copies already, hits it's peak player count on steam a week after release... it's a fantastic game that has a skill gap in the beginning, forcing the player to learn to think outside the box (big daddy fight with a beehive on a stick, for example)  Don't listen to this meaningless blather saying the game is a disappointment, it's the exact opposite, and most likely a GOTY contender. The only polarization occurring is between reviewers and gamers.

Crimson Desert is one of the hottest games of 2026 and combines open-world systems like few other titles. At the same time, Crimson Desert is systemic, a reflection of the industry in 2026, and is polarizing the community.
