I'm just starting out with electric guitar and now looking for a good beginner-friendly electric guitar amp, but I'm not sure which one to choose. There are so many options available, from small practice amps to more advanced ones with built-in effects, and it's a bit confusing.

What should a beginner look for in a guitar amp? For example, is wattage important, and should I go for a simple amp or one with effects and presets? Also, are there any specific brands or models you would recommend for beginners in terms of sound quality, ease of use, and value for money?

I'd also love to know if it's better to start with a small practice amp for home use or invest in something more versatile from the beginning.
