This post is a laugh, for several reasons:
- Spatial audio in the context of music listening is nonsense. The entire point of surround sound is to hear objects as if they're in different locations relative to the listener to match what's on a screen. Music listening has no such need, and the vast majority of performances are right in front of the listeners and amplified by stereo audio
- While lossless guarantees the absence of artifacts, 99.9999% of people can't tell the difference between it and a transparent lossy encoding, much less between different levels of lossless. CD quality is already beyond the limit of human hearing
- Spotify's killer app continues to be Spotify Connect, which give you the ability to instantly cast music to and remotely control any compatible device
