I miss the days when people would just competitively game on $5 keyboards which were like 7x lighter than this and probably far quieter to type on too.
At the same time, I'm not even mad at people that do. Everything budget these days is built so cheaply & flimsily using poor materials that you kind of have to spend this much money on a premium keyboard just to get the same durability you could get decades ago.
Keychron has updated the Q1 Max with 8K polling, hyper-efficient ZMK firmware, and a visual overhaul, and called it the Q1 Ultra. While a lofty promises have been made when it comes to technical capability, the most notable feature of the Keychron Q1 Ultra is just the satisfying build quality and typing feel, both of which make the Q1 Ultra feel much more polished than its predecessors.
