One could say to a title like this: get a different brand of earbuds, if specifically apple ones are affecting you.

There is plenty of academic research that has already established that vocals or music with vocals interfere with cognitive tasks and prevent the activation of DMN (Default Mode Network)

Creativity flourishes mostly in DMN states only.

BTW, most of the podcasts are useless information that we forget in a day or two.

I left my AirPods at home and I discovered they were killing my productivity. Now, I make an effort to stop listening to useless podcasts to fill up the silence.
