I have the Corebook X and CPUZ shows me I have 8mb of L3 cache. Thats an indication I have the 5500u model. I was already suspicious about its performance. I upgraded to 32gb of RAM, due to Ryzen working better in dual ranked systems. I also unlocked the TDP. But still my model falls far behind any comparison benchmark (other 7430u laptops). Synthetic and gaming benchmarks are closer to the 5500u. So I think that might be the case for me.... Its a shame. Still an upgrade to the previous i5 3rd or 4th gen, but a dissappointment. Especially for the price (i had a 20% discount) and the machine was already reduced by the time I obtained it, it was such a good deal. Still running it as my bedside system for browsing, streaming on demand and light gaming.
