That would be nice, but I'd be surprised if that were the case (all puns intended) due to thermal constraints, BOM cost, and desired battery life.

What's significant is Lenovo have completely dumped MediaTek WLAN cards from the BOM, featuring Intel NICs instead. The latter are better, but are also known to be problematic when paired with AMD CPUs due to being designed for use in Intel machines.
