Fantastic leader, amazing manager, a lot of the credit for the glory days of Xbox/360 is credit to Laurafry.  I wonder if that was the same HR forced to resign due to misconduct

She was sitting there completely nude and they said, come on man, at least put on this bathrobe! And she refused and left.

Yeah HR....it's there to protect the company not you. Should've just sued the company.

I think she was more involved during the 360 era in the executive decision making than that of the OG Xbox. I was always more a fan of the OG Xbox which Seamus Blackley was responsible for and led by. The games were just more focused on unique fun gameplay and innovation.

But regardless, she makes very good videos on the current state of the video game industries problems and it is shameful what happened to her.

Laura Fryer, who helped launch the first Xbox console, has recounted a disturbing encounter during the 2004 GDC. In a hotel room with another executive, she denied a request to wear a bathrobe. After pressured to leave her position, Phil Spencer invited her to join his publishing team at Microsoft.
