Double the energy density one more time and you are 1/3 on the way to the energy density of TNT (4600 Wh/kg).
Yes, your battery would become a bomb-like something.
This is why high energy density Lithium-ion batteries are usually used in the military only.

Note that -50C is actually equal to -58F, definitely not 122F.
