Author here, and yes it is. Bloody Palace is a 100-floor gauntlet that needs to be completed in a single run (until DMC5 let you checkpoint and come back later) with any death requiring a full restart. That is by definition a survival mode.

Also, I don't know what genAI program YOU think would so enthusiastically describe combo theory to the point of actually distinguishing it from strings, but you might be straight-up stupid if you think such a thing exists or that an obvious genre fanatic would ever resort to using it. I wrote this one purely out of passion for these games, not for whatever minimal views it will rake in. Take a long walk off a short one, will ya?
