Apple setzt neuerdings auf seine eigenen 5G-Modems und bewirbt insbesondere deren Effizienz. Nun schlägt Qualcomm aber mit dem Nachfolger des X85 Modem-RF-Systems zurück und überspringt gleich eine Namensgeneration. Statt Qualcomm X95 heißt das im Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 im Herbst erwartete 5G-Modem nun Qualcomm X105.
