I found the graphics performance interesting for an entry-level processor, similar to the 860M in the Ryzen AI 7 350.

A good improvement of almost 40% compared to the Intel Graphics 4-Core iGPU (Meteor / Arrow Lake).

It's all a matter of expectation, and this iGPU was never a replacement for 140T/140V...

What a dog of a laptop.

- IPS panel with snail-like response times? check
- 'next-gen' CPU inferior to Lunar Lake both perf wise and temp wise? check
- overpriced for what it offers? check

no thx

Pro premium 13 from Dell 24h in wifi test, xps14 with much more advanced CPU and screen and bigger battery 14h.

Additionally: heavy & with throttling.

It looks, that Dell doesn't have  engineers anymore or Intel Panther Lake is not very good.

Motherboard with everything upside should have better thermals than previous designs. With such "evolution" people will look more and more into Apple and  Chinese models. We can also see, how reality look in comparison to initial YouTube vibe.

The XPS version with a lower res IPS screen, the same battery capacity and, as shown in the table, lower power consumption, still has over 2 hours less battery life than the version with a more power-hungry processor and OLED panel? Are you sure this isn't a mistake?

3 times fewer cores (4 vs 12), and not too far from being 3 times slower (2.4 times = 7043/2951). Unfortunately this iGPU perf is nothing special.

Users who don't need the much-improved graphics horsepower of the Core Ultra X7 will find the less expensive Core Ultra 7 option much more attractive especially if upgrading from an older XPS 13 or XPS 14 model.
