Yes you can. 1. Don't suffer no matter advantages. 2. There are plenty of screens with no PWM. 3. There are plenty of OLED screens with no PWM.

Lenovo should really make a cheaper version of Legion Go 2 with the ever-reliable IPS LCD panel. You can still get great colour on IPS LCD panels with the right calibration.
