No one expects an OLED or Mini-LED panel in the budget segment. A modern Full HD display with decent brightness, reasonable response times, and acceptable color reproduction, however, is a fair expectation. This is exactly where the Acer Nitro V 17 shows one of its biggest weaknesses. Acer cuts corners on the display to a degree that makes it stand out negatively—even among budget competitors—and this alone could be a dealbreaker for many buyers.
