Your point is completely proven wrong by the existence of ARC Raiders. Extraction games need tension, pvp creates that, removing it makes the game boring.

So in one paragraph you say the gameplay is free (except the god tier stuff) and then you end the article with its price of $25. Feels like mixed message, is the game free or not? I'll just go and check myself

Similar idea, but Eldegarde looks to be more like an MMO with a stronger PvE side (especially now that it has a PvE-only mode). It doesn't look to be as hardcore PvP-driven as Dark and Darker though, at least to me.
