If you had understood how PSSR WORKS CURRENTLY ALSO HOWFSR 4 works and DLSS 4 WORKS IT WOULD HAVE BEEN CLEAR FROM THE BEGINNING THAT THESE METHODS OF UPSCALLING ARE ACTUALLY MORE ABOUT INCREASING FRAME RATES AND NOT LOSING THE 4K QUALITY THAT THE GAMES AND LATEST CONSOLES USE NOW WHICH IS 4K. YOU HAVE A WAYS BEEN ABLE TO TO LOWER YOUR 4K RESOLUTION FROM 4K TO 1080P TO INCREASE FEBRUARY FPS. THIS HAS BEEN USED ON CONSOLES AND ESPECIALLY PC'S for many years. THESE TECH GUYS HAVE ALWAYS JUST PERSUMED EVERYBODY KNOWS THESE THINGS WITOUT EVER BEING TAUGHT JUST LIKE WE PERSUMED THEY KNOW HOW TO CATCH AND THROW A BALL

They never mentioned frame generation. The main bonus of PSSR 2.0 will be better image quality, not more frames.

Bloodborne at a higher frame rate maybe? About as good as can be hoped for since no remake or remaster is forthcoming...

The Sony PlayStation 5 Pro is expected to get a brand-new version of Sony's in-house PSSR before the end of March. This upscaling technology is based on AMD FSR 4 and could enable 4K gaming at significantly higher frame rates, but it also brings noteworthy improvements for older games.
