He can argue all he wants, a donation is a donation but an access fee is a price for a product/service which in extension is benefitting on someone else's product.

The futuristic Night City seems like an ideal environment to explore using a VR headset. Sadly, there is no official support for the devices, and CD Projekt Red has now issued a DMCA takedown for a Cyberpunk 2077 VR mod. Its author believes he deserved to profit from the paywalled creation.
