I switched from the Razer Naga to the Solakaka SM809 Pro because of Razer mouse wheel quality issues. After checking several major retailer sites and reading confirmed buyer reviews, I found that Naga in every price category had problems with the mouse wheel within the first year.

Not only has the SM809 Pro proven itself in competitive WoW gameplay for over a year, but I also realized that while the Naga's classic square button block looks good on paper, Solakaka's layout is simply better and easy to adjust. And my spares of SM809 Pro is still unpacked.

Given all this, I simply don't get the SOLAKAKA E9 Pro. Are players forced to reach for buttons every time? That causes finger strain in long sessions and adds those crucial milliseconds—the difference between life and death, between wipe and nice try, pwn and rekt in PVP.

This also won't work because the mouse isn't static. Players typically hold the mouse with a hybrid grip—mostly palm with a little claw—and while moving the mouse, they also execute rotations using the side buttons. There's no way a player can comfortably perform all these complex big finger movements while also maneuvering the mouse.

The E9 Pro is a new vertical mouse that is supposed to be well suited for gaming. The rather unknown manufacturer places multiple additional buttons on both sides of this input device.
